PENGARUH ANALISIS PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN TERHADAP LAPORAN MASYARAKAT PADA ANGGOTA DEWAN DPRD KABUPATEN INDRAGIRI HILIR

This study aims to analyze the effect of decision-making analysis on the effectiveness of handling public complaints among members of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of Indragiri Hilir Regency. The research problem is based on the gap between the number of public aspirations and complaints received and the actual follow-up actions provided by the regional legislative institution. This research employed a quantitative approach with a causal research design. The population consisted of all active members of the DPRD of Indragiri Hilir Regency, totaling 45 respondents, with a total sampling technique. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression analysis, t-test, and coefficient of determination. The results indicate that decision-making analysis has a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of handling public complaints. This finding is supported by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a t-count value of 5.433 > t-table value of 2.016. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.524 indicates that decision-making analysis explains 52.4% of the variation in the effectiveness of handling public complaints, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors outside the research model. This study demonstrates that the ability of DPRD members to identify problems, develop alternative solutions, and consider regulatory aspects plays an important role in improving institutional responsiveness toward public complaints.
